For more than 20 years, Binod Sinha, MD, FACS, has been providing top-tier medical and surgical urology services to his patients at Urology Care of Central New Jersey. A board-certified urologist, Dr. Sinha has a wide range of specialties, such as female urology, urological oncology, male impotence, and urinary incontinence, to name a few.
Patients seek out Dr. Sinha because of his holistic approach. He spends time with each patient, understanding their wants and needs and walking them through their various treatment options. He strives to stay with minimally invasive procedures done in his own office as a way to keep costs and inconveniences at a minimum for his patients. To date, he has performed in-office laser surgery on more than 1,000 patients who are dealing with an enlarged prostate.
To further serve his patients, Dr. Sinha works to take the widest possible range of insurance providers. Patients come from the farthest corners of New Jersey because he’s able to help them when many other providers are not.
Dr. Sinha completed his urology residency at the University of Minnesota in 1985. Since then, he has joined forces with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital to bring his knowledge to their urology residents. Beyond teaching there, he has also served as the course director for office-based surgery at American Urological Association meetings all over the world.
Dr. Sinha is a member of the American Urological Association, the American Association of Clinical Urologists, the Endourology Association, and more. He also has relationships with both Mount Sinai Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Even when he’s not serving his patients, Dr. Sinha continues to serve his community and the world. He does charity work — both locally and across the globe — and donates to causes close to his heart like the SKN Foundation.
Dr. Sinha has been recognized by The American Board of Urology for his work and dedication for the past 10 years.
Dr. Binod Sinha established Urology Care of Central New Jersey, P.C. in 1995 to provide comprehensive medical and surgical urological services to adult men and women. Urology Care of Central New Jersey merged with Urology Care Alliance, a group of 20 urologists in Central and Southern New Jersey in July of 2011.
Urology Care Alliance utilizes state-of-the-art equipment for diagnosing urological diseases and all of the modern treatments available for genitourinary diseases. There are two convenient locations in New Jersey. One in Edison at 4 Progress Street and in Somerset at 81 Veronica Avenue (right by the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick) . Office hours are from 9AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday, with evening appointments on Monday and Thursday.
The primary goal of the practice is to provide urological services which are fully integrated with the primary care physician. By doing so, Dr. Sinha maintains ongoing communication with the personal physician to ensure the patient is receiving the best care possible. The staff provides very personal, confidential and responsive care in a professional environment. Dr. Sinha follows a very strict protocol for follow-up care. Patients are called to remind them of their appointment the day before. Sending letters for No Show or any cancellations are informed to the primary care doctor. Sometimes certified letters are sent to noncompliant patients for follow-up care.
